Our Story

Helping you ride through the toddler years

The toddler years are tough enough, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice weekend rides or your morning commute on two wheels because your kiddos are too young to bike (or keep up). As mountain bikers and parents, we married Glen’s engineering degree with Ashley’s MBA to found Ride More, so we can all keep riding, together.

Awesome product, easy install, perfect fit

Love the seat and how well it keeps my daughter on the bike, even when she inevitably lets go of the bars for a second. It came with two new spacers which was a nice surprise so I can quickly change between the two bikes I use most.
Two things to note as a heads up to future buyers- 1. you may need to go get a new spacer depending on what you are replacing on your current setup. Make sure there is no play in your riser/spacer before riding. 2. the screw that attaches to the front risers sticks out slightly and can catch your kids hand when turning the bars. If your kid has their hands close to the center of the bars while turning it can pinch a finger. Just need to make sure they keep their hands wide.

Happy we purchased

In addition to being a great way to bond with your child, we also consider this a training tool for teaching little ones to ride their own bike. Our 4 year old was skeptical at first, but after a few days of convincing, she is hooked!! We elected to use this seat as both of our bikes are older and have the brake and derailleur lines running across the top of our frames. Should have measured the stem in advance as both were the older threaded ones. Had to do some modifications to make it fit, but once we did, it was super easy to switch between bikes. (furling cut down to size that fit over the threaded stem piece). Waiting for a delivery of handlebars to help give our child a better place to grab than my bars. Worth the investment and time.

This was recommended by a couple of different friends. I was skeptical at first because of the concept and the high $$$. I took a chance and don't regret it at all. My son and neices LOVE riding on it and they have no fear at all when riding it. The product itself is built really well and feels SAFE. Easy and quick install.

Max ride dutch style

We commute the kids to and from school and activities. I am 20 weeks pregnant, riding two kids to school and have had 4 on my bike for play dates etc. pulling and trailer with max ride on front. This had made active family life possible for us! My 8 year old can get on the front in a pinch!
