I installed the Macride on my Trek Rail 5 and it works great! The first rides with the kids were pure joy as we were able to experience together the tracks. I recommend the seat to all families who enjoys MTB

Happy with it.

I take my son on a 6km off-road ride to creche on this every day. He loves the trails and it's a great way to spend time together. When we get to creche I remove the MacRide (30 second job) and hang it up on his hook at creche along with his helmet, then continue my off-road ride to work.
In the evening I pick him and the MacRide up again for another 6km home. This is the second MacRide we purchased as our daughter still hasn't grown out of hers and we love the family rides.
